Environmental Testing
Water Quality TestingIf the property you're purchasing has well water, I highly recommend testing the water for health hazards. If you're using a mortgage to purchase the property a well water quality test may be required by your lender.

Radon in Air TestingRadon is a colorless, odorless, naturally occurring radioactive gas, commonly found in Central Massachusetts homes in sufficient levels to raise concern. Radon testing is not expensive, I highly recommend it.

Mold Testing (Coming Soon)A lot of people tell me they are concerned about mold. If I see something that looks like mold during an inspection, I'll mention it to you. In the near future I'll be adding spot testing, and air quality testing.

Additional Structures

If the property you're purchasing has additional space, not considered part of the gross living area, and particularly if it's not attached to the home, there may be an additional fee to inspect these areas, if you want them inspected. More importantly, I need to know if you want them inspected while we're scheduling, or I may not allow enough time on site to do so. NOTE: If there is a garage built into the home (garage under, attached garage with family room above, etc.), these are included in your inspection at no additional cost. |
